Sapir Rom

I was born in Israel and was lucky to grow up in a mixed Ashkenazi and Sephardi community. This upbringing is at the core of my cuisine, whether it’s a familiar Shabbat dinner or an elegant corporate reception.

My interest in gastronomy took off in IDF where, as a sergeant, I was in charge of providing food for 200 soldiers daily during 3 years. After a couple of years studying in a culinary school, my expertise grew. The next logical step was to acquire precise techniques that along with my passion made my studies in Cordon Bleu -Paris a great success. The best experience in this French culinary journey was meeting my wife, Sheila. I new then, that our affinity and shared interest for international cuisine would drive our personal and professional lives together.

After working in the best restaurants in Paris and top catering companies in Miami, taking culinary courses in Thailand, Peru, Spain and managing a kosher catering company in the last 3 years. Sheila and I started this venture together to bring you the finest cuisine, our talents and expertise can provide: Kosher Table Catering. With our standards, dedication and attention to detail we will exceed your expectations and satisfy the most exquisite taste.

I consider myself lucky, not only for developing an early culinary interest, but for growing up in one of the most renowned gastronomic destinations in the world: Peru. Our cooking tradition skillfully fuses ingredients and flavors that reveal our rich cultural diversity. It is no wonder you recognize at the heart of our varied traditional and innovative cuisine a little taste of home.

After starting my career in Lima with hospitality studies, I moved to France to pursue my culinary dream in Cordon Bleu Paris. Knowledge, passion experience and technique came together and enriched even more my heritage which is always present in my style. During this creative process I met Sapir, my husband and partner in this journey.

We had the privilege of working with some of the best chefs in Paris which laid the foundation to our interest in developing and managing a culinary enterprise. As husband and wife, and as chefs, Sapir and I decided to move to Miami, a city that provided us with the most exhilarating and challenging stage for our culinary vision and experience.

18 years working as a chef, provided me with corporate expertise and team management skills that complimentary to food design makes Kosher Table distinguish us from the rest. Sapir and I understand that two events are not the same, that is why our commitment to personalized service, creativity and highest quality are present in each occasion. Our goal is to make your event as memorable as possible.
